-To stop the Germans, who wore uniforms and fought conventional warfare, the allies bombed French cities, killing thousands of French civilians, to soften up the invasion landing for D Day. The world understood it was necessary.
Israel, had limited bombing targeting non-civilians in Gaza to stop the thousands of missiles shot by civilian clothes terrorists from Gaza at its neighborhoods inside Israel, where the Hamas fired from schools, mosques and hospitals. The UN condemnes, clearly meaning Israel has no right to defend itself.
